Partner

Christen L. Casale is a dedicated advocate, attorney, and trusted advisor committed to advancing fairness, accountability, and dignity in the workplace. The majority of her practice is dedicated to representing workers across a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, disability and leave issues, workplace accommodations, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims.

Christen is especially passionate about addressing issues that disproportionately affect women in the workplace, including sexual harassment, gender discrimination, pregnancy and pregnancy-related discrimination, and parental leave issues. She is dedicated to ensuring that women are not forced to choose between their careers and their families and works to protect the rights of employees during pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition to parenthood.

Clients also frequently retain Christen to provide practical, real-time guidance as they navigate challenging workplace situations. She advises employees on matters ranging from workplace accommodations and leaves of absence to the negotiation of employment agreements, compensation arrangements, restrictive covenant provisions, and severance packages. Her goal is to help clients make informed decisions while protecting their professional and financial interests at every stage of their careers.

While most of her practice is devoted to representing employees, Christen also partners with select employers who share her commitment to fostering fair, inclusive, and legally compliant workplaces. She believes that working proactively with employers committed to doing the right thing helps create stronger workplaces for employees and organizations alike.

Christen represents survivors of sexual violence in civil actions as well, whether the underlying incident occurred in the workplace or elsewhere. She is committed to ensuring that survivors are heard, respected, and empowered as they navigate complex legal and institutional systems. Her work reflects a deep commitment to accountability, survivor-centered advocacy, and meaningful access to justice.

Known for her strategic approach, compassionate counsel, and unwavering determination, Christen has built a reputation as a trusted voice for those seeking fairness, dignity, and accountability. She is driven by the belief that every individual deserves a safe workplace, equal opportunity, and the ability to thrive without discrimination, harassment, or violence.

Christen earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2015, where she served on the Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science, Philosophy, and Spanish.
